Nevada offers a special Rifle Mule Deer draw
for those non-resident hunters who would like to go on a guided
hunt. In-order to be eligible for the guide's draw you must have
your guide submit you application to the Nevada Division of Wildlife.
The draw is held in March and most of the time you will know by
the first of April what area you drew. Depending upon the area you
are trying to draw, your odds in the guides draw can get as high
as 70%.
Non-resident license fees are around $157 and the tag in the guide's
draw will be $300. If you want to build bonus points you must buy
your license each year.
If you do not draw in the guide's draw you can still submit an
application in the general draw which is held in mid April. This
gives you two chances a year to draw a Rifle Mule Deer tag.
